Marsden is pleased to announce the hire of Chris Hillman as the Chief Operating Officer of Commercial Cleaning and Specialty Services divisions. Chris will be responsible for the ongoing operations of the organization as well as executing Marsden’s strategic long-term goals. Chris has over 25 years of experience developing, transforming, and leading global product and services businesses in the industrial, medical, consumer, government, technology, and entertainment industries.
Prior to joining Marsden, Chris served as Chief Operating Officer at Starkey Hearing, where he was responsible for execution of the company’s global operating plan, including setting the operational strategy and execution to achieve sustainable, profitable growth. Prior to Starkey, he served as Vice President and General Manager of Global Service Materials for GE Healthcare where he successfully executed the aftermarket equipment business’ commercial operations, supply chain and operations strategies. Earlier in his career, Chris held multiple leadership positions at Scientific Games and Motorola where, in addition to his operational responsibilities, he led or co-led a number of large-scale transformations, acquisitions, and divestitures, including the merger of four competing companies in the gaming industry and the separation of Motorola into two publicly traded companies.
Throughout his career, Chris and his teams have been honored with numerous awards for leadership, product and service innovation, and operational and process excellence. He is recognized for establishing proven, scalable, best-practices and a passion for building and mentoring high-performance teams. Chris holds a B.A. in business from DePaul University and an A.A.S. in Electronics Engineering Technology from Joliet Junior College. He has also held a number of advisory and industry board positions.
