Marsden Services is pleased to announce the hire of Matthew Nicholson as the VP of Sunstate Mechanical, Marsden’s HVAC brand in Arizona and the surrounding markets. Matthew is a proven leader with extensive experience across numerous industries and is known for achieving results through the cultivation of empowered and aligned teams.

Matthew brings over 15 years of management experience to Marsden and Sunstate. Before joining the Marsden enterprise, he held the position of Regional/Area Photographic Operations Manager at Lifetouch, where he managed 2,800 accounts and a combined volume of $21 million in revenue. His areas of expertise include team development, standardizing processes, market expansions, labor management, P&L responsibility, and managing field operations. In prior roles, Matthew has also demonstrated his capacity to lead facility operations, Capex projects, safety initiatives, vendor installations, asset protection, and remodel projects, as well as managing labor shortages and d riving compliance. In 2023, Matthew was awarded the Lifetouch/Shutterfly’s Value Award for 22/23.
Matthew holds a bachelor’s degree in Music from the University of Nebraska, Kearney, and is a certified Class Educator.
