With 2024 behind us, Marsden is reflecting on this past year and the challenges and opportunities presented to our organization over the last 12 months. Throughout the year, Marsden team members continued to rise to the occasion and demonstrate why we are one of the leading facility service providers in the country. This year, we saw numerous achievements and exciting changes across the enterprise and continued to progress towards our goals.

Defining Cultural Tenets

In 2022, Marsden released our updated corporate core values to define and align around our guiding principles. We continued this important work in 2024 when we launched our Mission, Vision, and Purpose statements. We reflected on our journey from a local service provider to a national integrated services vendor and incorporated both our history and future goals into our new cultural tenets.

Mission: Caring for employees, workplaces, clients, and communities.

Vision: Become together the leading integrated facility services provider.

Purpose: To make workplaces cleaner, safer, and more productive.

Core Values: Relationship Builders, Solution Seekers, Constant Advancers, Positive Influencers

Employee Engagement & Leadership Development

Throughout 2024, our HR, talent acquisition, and talent management teams made incredible progress towards bolstering our employee engagement and leadership development capabilities. In May, Marsden filled the position of CHRO through the promotion of Kirsten Van Hulzen, which allowed us to continue to build upon and expand initiatives and strategies to drive engagement across the organization. Throughout the year, Marsden celebrated hundreds of graduations from our professional development and leadership courses and continued to build out additional training opportunities for our associates.

Acquisitions & Integrations

In 2024, we celebrated our 50th acquisition as an enterprise and completed a total of five new acquisitions throughout the year.

Cambridge Security: Cambridge is a security firm operating throughout Florida, and Marsden purchased the Cambridge accounts in the Orlando and Fort Myers markets. The Cambridge team brings with it a wealth of knowledge and talent and expands our security presence in Florida.

HUB Enterprises: HUB is a security firm headquartered in Louisiana and operating throughout Louisiana, Alabama, Mississippi, and Texas. HUB expands our security capabilities throughout the Southeastern United States, as well as enhances our expertise in securing unique and complex environments.

Feldkamp Enterprises and Metal Craft: Feldkamp Enterprises provides sheet metal fabrication for HVAC piping as well as HVAC servicing, and Metal Craft fabricates decorative kitchen hoods and other custom sheet metal designs. This acquisition augments Marsden’s HVAC capabilities and expands our existing presence in Ohio and the surrounding markets.

Spencer Building Maintenance: Spencer is a janitorial firm headquartered in Sacramento, and this acquisition allows Marsden to expand our presence in California and add new talent to our organization.

1 Stone Solutions: 1 Stone is a janitorial firm headquartered in Houston, and this acquisition allows Marsden to expand our presence in Texas.

Thank you to all our team members who have contributed to Marsden’s success over the past year. We made incredible progress in 2024, and it’s exciting to think about what we can continue to accomplish together!
